Quanta requires all guests to be over the age of 18, both in character and out of character.

Immersive RP

We're a fully immersive roleplay venue. This means no out of character chatter in say chat and to keep things in character at all times.

Gil is Real

All gil is real and is required for transactions. This includes our wager system.

Lalafel Welcome

Lalafel are permitted in the venue and are welcome to take parts in both libations and stimulations (alcohol and drugs).

No ERP

Flirtatious behavior should be kept polite. If you wouldn't be allowed to do it in a movie theatre or restaurant, that means this is not the place for it either.

Consent

All guests and staff are to follow the rules of consent when it comes to all activities, regardless of their nature. If at any point a staff or guest is made uncomfortable, you are urged to message a manager immediately so we can address the issue.

Combat

Overview

  • Combat is designed so every hit does something

  • Homebrew classes are permitted

  • Overpowered and underpowered characters are welcome. Whether you're playing a primal or a gardener, we level out the playing field

  • Quanta sports the newest barrier technology to keep our patrons safe. Let loose

  • No killing and no permanent injuries (cutting off limbs, stabbing eyes, etc) are permitted

  • Unless otherwise requested, our healers will patch up all fighters so they're good as new after their fights

  • The fight system is designed so players are in control of how much damage they take. We ask that you be realistic but always remain within your own comfort zone. If someone drops a meteor on you but you don't want your character incinerated, it's in your hands to prevent that however you like

Point System

  • Fighters don't need to worry about keeping track of points. Our announcers will do that for you

  • Please focus on roleplay above anything else!

  • Fights follow a point system

  • Fighters begin with 2000 HP

  • The first fighter to get their opponent to 0 wins

  • All rolls are to be done in party chat and all posts are to be done in say chat

Post Order

  1. Fighters roll a "/dice" in party to determine who goes first.

  2. Fighter A will write out their post

  3. In party, Fighter A will state if they're attacking, defending or healing

  4. Fighter A will roll "/dice" in party

  5. In party, the announcer will state current HP after the action.

  6. Fighter B will repeat steps 2 - 4, factoring in their reaction to what Fighter A did.

  7. Repeat.

Action Types

  • Attacking: Straight forward. This is striking your opponent for damage. The damage will decrease their point total based on how much you roll.

  • Defending: Whatever you roll will now become a shield in which you can absorb or simply not take incoming damage. This shield is only affective up to the amount you roll. (Ex. Fighter A rolls a 700 to defend. Fighter B rolls an 800 to attack. Fighter A will take 100 points of damage)

  • Healing: This is a way in which you can recover your points. Whatever you roll, that number will be added to your point total. You cannot go over 2000 points.

  • Last Chance: When a player would be delivered a killing blow, they have the opportunity to roll once to save themselves. If they roll above 500, they keep 1 HP and begin their turn. If they roll below, they lose the fight.

  • Cheat Sheet: Attacking deals damage. Defending is preventing future damage. Healing is react to damage you've already taken.

Bonus System

  • When signing up to fight, fighters must state whether they're a DPS, a Tank or a Healer

  • DPS will have a bonus roll on all attacking actions of 10%

  • Tanks will have a bonus roll on all defending actions of 10% & take 10% less damage

  • Healers will have a bonus roll on all healing actions of 10% & receive an additional Last Chance per fight

  • Go to any of our staff, tell them who you want to bet on and for how much

  • Wagers are only acceptable during designated wager periods

  • Winnings may only be collected from the front desk

  • Maximum Wager: 500,000 gil

  • Win: 2x your bet

  • Lose: 0.5x your bet

Fighter

  • Looking to earn some extra cash while fighting in the ring?

  • Enter to fight and win up to 1,000,000 gil for defeating them (or more if you're a VIP!)

  • You must put up a matching wager to enter the fight (Ex. If you challenge a combatant and bet 300k, you must put up that 300k before the fight begins)

  • Fighters are also able to make wagers against each other, with Quanta acting as the middle man to ensure a fair exchange of gil.

  • Maximum Wager: 500,000 gil

  • Win: 2x your wager

  • Lose: 0.5x your wager
